the NL specialty-coffee price index

methodology

we track roasted whole-bean and ground coffee listed for sale by Dutch specialty roasters, twice a day. non-coffee products (drinks, gear, capsules, merch) are excluded.

every price is normalized to zł/kg from the bag size actually listed, so a 250g and a 1kg bag compare like for like. the median (not the average) is used so one very expensive or very cheap outlier can't move the number.

prices are the roaster's own listed price at time of sweep, including any active discount shown on their site — not a recommended retail price.
